Woolwich Service Users Project: Community and Humanity
The Woolwich Service Users Project (WSUP) marks its 10th anniversary this fall, originating from a desire to aid the homeless and poorly housed. Evolving from a support group for recovering addicts, WSUP is now a registered charity, despite facing challenges like homelessness. With recent funding, WSUP now employs staff and expands services, offering diverse activities and vital support for housing and addiction recovery. WSUP's impact extends beyond its services, empowering women involved to overcome personal challenges and pursue new opportunities. With plans for women-only activities and a diverse board of Trustees, WSUP remains committed to inclusivity and community support as it celebrates a decade of service.
