Hanna Afolabi, a leading figure in property development and community-driven urban planning. As the founder of Mood and Space, she pioneers initiatives that integrate social value into development projects. Formerly Development Director at Balfour Beatty Investments, Hanna led transformative regeneration projects, including a £900 million mixed-use development on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Beyond her development work, she founded Black Women in Real Estate (BWRE) in 2019, uniting and empowering black women in the built environment sector. BWRE has connected over 600 women, fostering talent and hosting industry workshops. Hanna's dedication to community extends to her role on the board of E16 CLT, a community land trust in Newham.
